From late 1998 until April, 1999, a computer analysis of all 3x3x3
3-piece burrs was run. There are 248,540,275,292 different such designs. The
highest level solution found was 8, and there were 80 such solutions. These
solutions came apart in two different ways. One of these was chosen as a
souvenir puzzle and named GigaBurr, and one which comes apart in the other
way was made as GigaBurr II.
This was my souvenir puzzle at the 19th International Puzzle Party.
